Risks inherent in the underlying blockchain network

ClayStack interacts with the protocol deployed on the Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchain network(s)_ . _ As a result, any malfunction, breakdown or abandonment of such blockchain(s) may have a material adverse effect on ClayStack. Moreover, advances in cryptography, or technical advances such as the development of quantum computing, could present risks to ClayStack and related blockchain software by rendering ineffective the cryptographic consensus mechanism that underpins the blockchain. The smart-contract concept, the underlying software and software platforms, including the blockchain networks, are still in an early development stage and unproven. Although it is very unlikely, the blockchain, as well as any other blockchain, can be attacked which may result in downtime, consensus split, long reorganisation of the chain, 51 percent attack, or other adverse outcomes each of which may lead to complete loss of your assets implemented on such blockchain network.

Risks inherent in the Protocol

ClayStack interacts with the Protocol and when using ClayStack's website you may be exposed to certain risks related to the operation and functioning of the Protocol. The Protocol is complex, the majority of its components and functional elements are risky and experimental. You should not use or interact with the Protocol unless you fully understand how it works and the consequences of transactions carried out with the use of the Protocol. ClayStack derives information from the Protocol, related software and underlying blockchain network(s) in an automated manner, which means that such information is not verified. As a result, such information may not be true, complete, timely, accurate, or sufficient. Furthermore, certain functions within the Protocol may be executed by third parties that may not act in a timely or reliable manner, or as expected or intended, or may fail to act, which can lead to partial or complete loss of your digital assets. The underlying logic of ClayStack and related software may be flawed, defective or impaired, which can result in smart-contracts operating incorrectly or not as expected, or transactions being executed in violation of logic which underpins the smart-contracts, which can lead to partial or complete loss of digital assets used in the transaction.

Risks inherent in the cryptocurrencies

Investing in cryptocurrencies is highly risky and may lead to a total loss of investment. You must have sufficient understanding of cryptographic tokens, token storage mechanisms (such as token wallets), and blockchain technology to appreciate the risks involved in investing in cryptocurrencies.

You should conduct your own due diligence of any issuer or cryptocurrencies and consult your advisors prior to making any investment decision. You are recommended to exercise prudence and trade and invest responsibly within your own capabilities. You are solely responsible for determining whether any investment, investment strategy or related transaction is appropriate for you according to your personal investment objectives, financial circumstances and risk tolerance, and you shall be solely responsible for any loss or liability therefrom. You should consult legal or tax professionals regarding your specific situation.

We do not recommend that any cryptocurrencies should be bought, earned, sold, or held by you and we will not be held responsible for the decisions you make based on the information provided by us on this website.

AS WITH ANY ASSET, THE VALUES OF CRYPTOCURRENCES ARE VOLATILE AND MAY FLUCTUATE SIGNIFICANTLY AND THERE IS A SUBSTANTIAL RISK OF ECONOMIC LOSS WHEN PURCHASING, HOLDING OR INVESTING IN CRYPTOCURRENCIES. BY ACCESSING THE WEBSITE AND USING OUR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT: (A) YOU ARE AWARE OF THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH TRANSACTIONS OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES THAT ARE BASED ON BLOCKCHAIN AND CRYPTOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIES AND ARE ISSUED AND MANAGED IN A DECENTRALIZED FORM; (B) YOU SHALL ASSUME ALL RISKS RELATED TO THE USE OF THIS WEBSITE AND TRANSACTIONS OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES; AND (C) THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR ADVERSE OUTCOMES.
